Year 7&8 technology term 2

On the 8th and 9th of July the year  7 and 8s had technology. There was many different things that you could choose such as; food,electronics,photography and graphics. Jansje and I did electronics with Mr Fourie. We had a great two days.The things we liked learning about were how to use a soldering iron and knowing what the different components were.The components that we learnt about were resisters,circuit board,electric compositors,transistors,power diode,mercury switch and lots more. It was hard to learn the techniques of soldering. When we first started soldering we were scared of burning ourselves because the soldering iron is very hot. Overall we loved doing electronics and we enjoyed ourselves.
