This year was a fantastic year with Mr Fourie. I have spent along time at this school and my last year has definitely been my best. Mr Fourie has been the greatest teacher by far in my life. Any body that has him must realize what he does and gives for his students. There is nothing that I could of done better at this year because I think that I did everything to the best of my ability. But my favourite thing was going to Aucklands three times for cross country and athletics.

                                  WHAT DO I WANT TO LEARN:
    I want to learn to master a deck of cards. Doing tricks, flourishes, cuts ,and shuffles.

                     WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS:

I chose this topic because I was inspired by magicians like; Dynamo, David Blaine, David Copperfeild, and Criss Angel. Making what you know seem distant, and amazing crowds bringing happyness, sacredness, amazement, and curiosity to the audience. Because Iv'e always wanted to bring that amazement into peoples eyes.

This year for my personil inquary I have desided to use the application Garageband, to create a two minute song using different typs of instuments and music.

By the end of the term I would like to be able to use Garageband to its full potential and hopefully create many more songs.

Why?

My reason for choosing this topic is because I really like this type of music and I listen to it alot. It also might be easier to do on Garageband because theres no words.

Camp Report 2013 - Liam

A week ago on tuesday the twenty second room 11 and room 14 went on a long road trip over the harber brige and beyond.  We went to the lovely Peter Snell youth village.

We took a big beuatiful big bus there, and we also had to do a couple of activitys on the way  there like finding things and counthing things but it wasn't to easy.

When we finally got to peter snell youth village. Everyone in the bus, including the perants, were very excited to get out side and check the camp out, but I was very pumped to get out and see the water slide instead of anything else, so I was really hoping to get out side later because it was nice and sunny.

The next thing we did was take all of our bags down to the big dech on the other side of the eating hall, there was a good view of the lake and all the activitys we would be doing later, Then we were sent to our rooms so we could put our stuff away. Next we started our activity rotation their were six different activities our group could. We started off with the inshertive course you had to work as a team to complete this

Then we did archery which was fun but hard at the same time.

the next day we finished off our activities we started off with abseiling this was definitely one of the hardest activities to do but I completed it. The next activity was rifle shooting this I thought i would be really bad at it but I actually wasn't. A second to last activity was rock clubbing another very hard activity but I also completed it. And the final activity of the day was hobo stoves, this is cooking on an up turned can and frying pancake batter I actually found this very frustrating. Later that night we had our talent quest were my group came 2nd.

The next day we went to snow planet you could either snowboard or ski I decided to snowboard but that might of been the wrong choice because it was so frustrating  but I had fun anyway. then later on at night we had the Y-games this was kind of like a eating challenge.

On the very last day we had to say bye to Gordon who work there and we had to do a huge pack up and then we went back on the bus

MAN UNITED SHOCKER!

In the Premier League there was a shocker between two teems both from Manchester, this was a Manchester derby. It was with the two teams Man United and Man City this game was played at Etihad stadium Man City's home ground, every body was ready for the game. Man City struck first with an amazing goal from Sergio Aguero, this was scoed on the 16th minute and was a last footed shot directly to the bottom left corner of the goal. Man City again scored a goal from Sergio Aguero on the 47th minute again to the bottom left corner. At the start of the second half Man City scored another goal from the one and only Yaya Toure making the score 3 - 0. 5 minutes later Man city score again with an awesome gaol Samir Nasri, making the score 4 - 0. but Man United wanted to score so they did, a good gaol by Wayne Rooney.
Making the final score 4 - 1.
