Useful Spare Space ......

The are between rooms 11 and 14 is a muddy waste of space. Why have a muddy, dirty and useless space when we can have; an extend learning area, a space for the year 7 and 8s to hangout and an area for us to play educational games such as chess, checkers and more.

Right now the space between the rooms of the kereru teams is just collecting rain and getting mud. Why cant we use this area for an extend learning space? When it is sunny we can go outside and sit on a concrete table and get away from a noisy classroom. Also when we have a group task we will all be able to spread around.

At lunch and morning tea the years 1 and 2's run around screaming making it impossible for everyone to hear a thing. If we had an opportunity to change this I would definitely like this space to be a place for the year 7 & 8's to hang out. This could also be a designated place for us to eat.

As said before we could play educational games such as; chess, checkers, monopoly, mancala, chinese checkers and the list goes on. But those aren't the only games we could play, we can also use the concrete tables to play ping-pong, handball and more. If we had the chance to do such things I am sure we would enjoy it.

So as it ends this could be a great opportunity to for the year 7 & 8's to leave this school and know that we had a significant part to this school that would always be used for; an extended learning area, an area for the year 7 & 8's to hang out and a place to play appropriate games.
