How friction works
Friction is caused by a couple of different things such as; two objects rubbing together, and gravity. Friction also causes; objects to slow down and heat up.
When you get two objects that are bigger than the other and rub them together they get hotter. With somethings such as; dry wood you can rub them together until they get so hot they start a fire.
Friction and gravity are a force that works together. Such as; when you kick a ball you can't expect for it to keep going because the friction slows it down and the gravity pulls it down
Friction is a force that you need in life. If you don't have friction nothing will stop.

To be honest I thought that this piece of writing is too short for an explanation. I think that you can learn from that next time but other than that I understand that we have just started learning to write an explanation.
