I hate the smell of my Dads farts

I love playing all sorts of sports

I love how my family can be proud of me  

I used to love dresses but now as the years past 

I know they're not my style

I’ve lost the girly personality I used to have

I’ve lost the hair gel and red hairspray I used to wear

I’m looking for skills to be a cook for my family

I’m looking for new things to learn everyday

And my heart is open to anyone who deserves it

Lost In Canada

It was a sunny day and there was water rushing everywhere, rocks falling from high above. We paddle as fast as we can trying to get out of the rapids, the orange boat is filled with water, everyone was in a panic and I can hear everyone screaming my name"Ginger, Ginger help". I look around and I can see Jack trying to hock the angler around a tree but it doesn't work he keeps on trying and all I can see in his face is anger. I looked up and all I could see was tall, dark trees reaching for the sky and when I close my eyes all I could see was Jacks face full of anger.

Jack Snaps was tough ,was really nice when you got to know him but when he got anger all of the good things would disappear. He had dark brown hair and eyes and when you looked at him all you can see was his brown eyes and a scare on his left cheek. Jack got that nasty scare when he was sixteen, he was riding a horse when all of a sudden the horse got spooked and Jack fall of his back and the horse stepped on the side of Jacks face.

I hear the water has stopped rushing we all start jumping for joy but then we hear it again and Sam turns around slowly and sees that we are headed for a giant water fall. There’s nothing we can do so we sit down and say goodbye to each other and then the floor is gone and we are screaming and then it’s silent. 

Spy Crisis

It's a beautiful day out today. A perfect day for Michael and Angela to spend their 5th wedding anniversary. They both are very excited along with Jake and Rose their 2 children to go to the river bank. The rivers are calm and not too rough. Apparently its the best river in the world. Michael has felt pain on his arm for quite some time now but he is strong enough to handle it. Michael's family are taking a nice and easy cruise down their with their boat. Birds are chirping and cicadas are cicadaing and Michael is having having a wonderful time.

What his family doesn't know is that he was a spy who worked for Merces Letifer. He had a pretty good job there but someone from the agency revealed them to the government. Michael had to shut it down but he had bigger problems because now the FBI are hunting him down trying to kill him. Now Michael and his family are in danger ad they injected a micro chip in his left arm so they could track him wherever he went. The FBI are already sending their best troops to bring him back dead or alive.

What was unusual it that everyone except for Michael was wearing a life jacket. He only wore a red tie tuxedo.'Beep Beep Beep' went his left arm and he knew it meant something fishy. The family heard gun fires from the far bush and he got even more suspicious. When he saw the FBI troops he shouted to his family to jump off the water fall but they had no choice. He pushed them all off the boat and fell straight through the water. 'Boom' the gun fires continued to scare his family. He knew what happened and he was ready. They swam far away from the FBI to where they could no longer see them. The FBI associator John McNeil was there Michael's arch nemesis. He told his family to wait by the forest where it was safe. He was on the phone talking to Barrack Obama. Michael snuck up behind the van and got out his fibre wire and garroted him because he knew without him the FBI are nothing but dust. He hides the body in a nearby van and runs to his family stealthily.

It's children are scared and his wife is but he sees the red light in his arm and rips it directly out of his skin and squashes it. He tells his family to follow him as he knows that his work is done. What an anniversary!

Devastation Part 1

We are going down fast! Our right turbine has caught fire and has blown. Try not to panic as we are professionals and we will try land as soft as possible. Suddenly the passengers watched the pilots jumping out the window with parachutes attached to their backs. As the pilots jumped their parachutes were sucked in to the turbine pulling the pilots along side with them, leaving blood splattered all over the windows. The passengers started to panic and two others tried to slow the plane from falling from such a great speed. They managed to slow the plane but not fast enough to stop certain death.

I woke up with a sharp pain running up my leg leading towards my head. I noticed  that a piece of metal had torn my muscle by ripping through the bone. The crash was devastating as I could see so many fatal deaths and a few badly injured. I no longer could hold the pain and went unconscious. I dreamed that I was arriving home with my family surrounding me. Many welcoming me home but something started to burn, I woke up and found myself in a bubbling pot. With native dancing around me speaking some type of language. Surprisingly pirates jumped out of the bush while holding weapons (swords and guns). All you could hear was the shriek of death.

My family's last adventure!!!

It was a nice sunny day there was a cool breeze and the air felt so fresh.
My parents three brothers and my sister are all going kyaking the worlds roughest river in the world and
surly I could not miss this.
My sister is five and is as scared as anything my parents are scared that we are going to fall out of the kayak and my three brothers there are going to be sharks in the water
am I the only person that sounds like i'm going to enjoy this?

As we jumped in the kayak and got in the water the wind seemed to feel Alot stronger and my lond black hair blew in front of me and I started to get goose-bumps.
My luck seemed to had to change when the wind was more stronger than before and to my surprise we had found that a huge crocadile was following us.
Our instructer did not say anything about crocadiles in the river and he never said that we were going to kayak right next to them.

The next thing I knew I heard a rushing sound in front of me then my mum started to shout
"EVERYONE HOLD ON"
I did as my mum said my mother said but I did not know why she said that but I found out in a few seconds.
In that time I felt like I was on the Fear-Fall at RainbowsEnd because we were dropping and the drop was as high as a 10 story building.
My family fell out of the kayak leaving me to hold for my life.

Our kayak landed perfectly on the water and now my next life threatening mission was to get my
family out of the water but before I  could do anything the water turned red then I knew instantly
my family was dead.
The crocodile had gotten my family before I could even do anything to try and help.
I could not do anything now but hope and pray I just don't get eaten alive like they did.

I paddled to the end of the river and there laid a beautiful forest but nothing seemed beautiful anymore
my family was dead and that was all that mattered.
I could not turn back because it would risk my life so I stayed and lived in the forest and i had to live in the fear of the beasts who killed my family.

The Day Everything Went Wrong

The very last day of term tomorrow. Children playing outside, teaches working inside and thinking they just want to go home.

Mathew just wants to go on minecraft at his house so he can play with his friends. Mathew hates school and always dreams of the school burning down. He has brown eyes and black hair that waves to one side. He has a sister named Gemma and a cousin named April. They all go to the same school in wattle downs.

"Mathew, come have a look at the weather on the news" Yelled Mathews mum the net morning. "ok i'm coming just pausing Minecraft." he yelled back from the computer room. "There saying theres going to be a tornado in wattle downs this afternoon" "oh well."

At school no one mensioned it so mathew just went with it. by lunchtime the wind started to pick up and all the children had to eat inside the classroom. april and Gemma where talking about the wind and saying there might be a giant gush of wind that makes the whole school fly up in the air then move into the Auckland Harbour and sink to the bottom of the sea and will never be seen again. Mathew was listning and didn't reply because they woud tell him off.

"Ahhhhh,Theres a tornado coming from the north!" all the children look and see a massive tornado about 20m wide. All the children scream in horror as they watch as it swallowed up the playground and moved onto the courts. The tornado spat out the playground slide and was heading strait for  Rooms 11, 12, 13 and 14. BANG, CRASH! The tornado has reached Room 12 and 13 but luckly they all ran to the  front gates and the teachers let them out to go back and tell the rest of the classrooms over the intercom. The terrified children started panicing and mathew grabed his phone and called 111 and all the police raced to the school. The tornado crept closer even though the classroom where in the way it would just pick them up and smash them on the ground. By the time the tornado got to the gates all the children and teachers where gone in the police cars back to the station.

About 5 days later the teachers and all the year 8 students came back to the school to find a notice from the Prime minister rsaying that reremoana school is now closed and will never be open ever again. Mathew thought this was great he could play minecraft all day for the whole week and wont ever have to go to school again but he was wrong. That week he was accepted into Manurewa High school and he loved that school so much he never played minecraft again.

Lost

Splish! Splash! Water dripped down the corner of my grinning checks splattering on the bottom of the raft. All you could hear were excited screams. I was so happy because it was my birth day. The sun was out making the water. I was becoming was becoming more tan by the second. My perm was moulding into sludge then my brother chucked sand into my brown eyes.

Boom! The raft went to a halt with a sharp boulder perching though the hull. My family and I fell into the rushing water. We all were knocked out.

When I woke up I noticed that we had drifted to shore but my brother no where to be seen. Someone was calling my name. Jamian! Jamian! I respond by banging to rocks together since my thought was to sour. They found me and gave me details of where we were. 'LOST'. To my surprise the worlds most dangerous  endangered bear jumped out behind the bush. ROAR! Screamed my other brother finn. The bear pounced him eating him hole. Then went on to my parents. They told me to run. Ahhh was all I heard was the sound of my parents getting ripped apart. I ran the fastest I had ever ran in my life. As I tripped over a rock the bear jumped on me. He was dribbling with hunger.

I heard shouting from behind me. The bear must of been frightened and ran of. Bear Grills walked in front of me and gave me his hand to help me up. I grabbed his hand and he helped me up. then took me with him.

Unusual Football match

One day Reremoana School decided to come up with a year 7 & 8 boys and a year 7 & 8 girls soccer team. Chris was on of the best on the day and really enjoyed himself. H didn't keep the ball to himself and always passed the ball. That same afternoon Chris started seeing really unusual things like darkness  and fog appearing out of nowhere.

Suddenly one random unusual and scary creature appeared out of  the fog and darkness. The creature was grey and bounced around everywhere. Luckily, the game ended and Chris knew a scientist his name was Jacob. Chris met Jacob when he was seven years old but Jacob was Chris's fathers best friend. Jacob gave Chris his number just incase there were in trouble.

Chris made a call to Jacob to see if he was able to see if he can go to the grounds but there was no time so Chris had to give Jacob a proper description of the creature and asked how to weaken the thing and what harms it can have. Jacob replies with "It's Brutus! he's returned he's evil and giant. One of the main leaders of the zombies."

"What shall I do ?" says Chris.

"survive" replies Jacob

Chris finds a shotgun behind the stadium and starts shooting the creatures. Finally a big giant zombie appears walking through all the fog and darkness Chris knows this is the end but that shotgun has the last 4 bullets left and runs up to Brutus and shoots for his life. Chris manages to injure Brutus but not enough to stop him. Chris gathers all his team and run for their lives. They manage to et away but don't forget, Brutus is still their.

The man next door (part 1).

It was a normal day at the old street. Joe was red all over. He didn't like the idea of moving houses and away from all his friends. The new neighborhood was bare and lonely with no one living their but them. All the grass was dead and weeds grow all over the foot path. There was a round a bout by the corner and beside it was a creaking playground.

After unpacking, Joe's parents told him to go explore the new neighborhood and see if he can go make friends but they knew no one lived there except for them and the creepy man opposite their house. Every minute or so the man would stare down from his house upstairs. Joe took his skate board but it was no use, there were weeds all over the place and some were almost touching the side of the road, so he walked to the park.

Feeling as if he was being followed, Joe sat down on one of the creaking swings and sighed. Then from a bush nearby a man walked over to Joe and stood in front of him. Joe then recognized the man, he was the man who was always staring down at their house. The man wore a black coat up to his feet, a black hat and glasses. Joe couldn't help staring at the man as the man was staring back at him. Then the man finally lifted his hand and slid it in his coat and just before he took out something Joe ran away screaming and abandoning his skate board.

Joe's mom baked some muffins and told Joe to be a friendly person and take some to "the man next door", she thought Joe was just making up stories because he was lazy, but at the end Joe agreed because he made a deal with his mom. Joe was shaking as he reached the mans door with the basket of muffins. He held his breath and knocked on the door. He was about to change his mind until  he heard slow footsteps coming towards him, then the door creaked open and Joe coughed as he smelled a horrible smell coming from the house. When Joe opened his eyes the same man was standing in front of him, he wore the same clothes from before and they stared at each other until the man slid his hand inside his coat but this time Joe did not run away. The man took out something that looked familiar to Joe, his heart ached and he dropped his basket.

Mysterious River

One rainy and dark day the Wilson family decided to go white water rafting. Jamey is a young boy who takes a lot of care for his family. He enjoys going out and living his life with the wonderful Wilson family.

Now the family are packing some spare clothes for after the white water rafting. Danny, the father of the Wilson's tells everybody to start hurrying up and get into the car. They are all ready and are now leaving. Their now half way their and are getting really excited for this trip.

The Wilson's are finally there and just can't wait to go on. They pay for their tickets and now are one step closer to getting on that inflatable boat. Danny and Jamey get the two front seats and the rest of the family are at the back.

They are taking off and are really happy. The family are now feeling a bit uncomfortable due to the deadly and giant waves. The last time the Wilson's went white water rafting they took another route. They thought for a while that they purposely did that until they see a waterfall. They only have a short amount of time so Jamey and Danny try their best to reach something beside or under the boat. Luckily Jamey reaches out to a branch and grabs it with all his strength and power. Jamey pulls them to the right side of the boat and head to the jungle.

Danny see's help and screams as loud as he can to get the person to start walking in there direction. The Wilson's are now safe and head back home. The family finishes off the day with some McDonalds and are back home living their lovely and peaceful lives.

Auckland Champs Orienteering

On the 20th of May it was the Auckland Championship Orienteering. It was held at Moire park in West Auckland. Two teams participated along with one individual student.

Year 8 Boy’s Team - Rhys, Kyle, Denzil, Sean, Clark and Sam

Year 7 Girl’s Team - Gemma, Eden, Olivia, Hannah, Jorien and Theane'

Year 7 Boy Individual - Liam Haddock

It was a very sunny day, the ground was really slippery and muddy because of previous rainy days. About 25 schools participated, it was very challenging to get a placing. The course that we ran was around 2-3 kms.

We asked one person from each team on how they felt before their race. 
Jorien, Year 7 Girl, said "I had mixed emotions. I felt nervous but excited!"
Liam, the qualifying individual said "At the start I felt nervous but confident. While I was running I thought I was doing really well. At the end I felt exhausted."
Kyle, Year 8 Boy, said "At the start I felt quite nervous but when I got into it I got the flow of the course. At the end I knew I did well and got them all right."

The day was hot and tiring. Congratulations to all students who took part We all tried our best and never gave up. Thank you to Mr Fourie for making this day happen and turning us into Auckland Champs! Thank you to Mr Matete, Miss Yates and Mr Mesley for coming along to supervise and help with transportation to and from the venue.
 

The Awesome Soccer Field Day

On the 13 of may the year seven and eight boys and girls had a soccer field day at War Memorial park for the Central Counties soccer championships.
There were a range of schools that we played
The first team was played by the girls, they won their first game 7/0. They lost their second game. 1/0 and tied their  last game 0/0 . The boys won their first game 1/0 they also won their second game 6/0 and lost their last game 2/0
Over all the boys came 2nd and the girls came 3rd in their pool. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed playing soccer. We also would like to thank the following people: 

• Mr Munro
• The Parents who helped 
• The organiser who made this day possible

School's out -(end of term 1)

Orientation:

It was two minutes past 3.00pm at Reremoana school. Normally people would leave as soon as they could, pushing out the gates to go home. But today was different it is the end of term 1. The girls are crying and saying their goodbyes,and the boys they just don't care. Most of them just walk off and don't even say goodbye to there friends at all. I was saying goodbye to Clair,April, Jansje, and Ginger my best friends.

At school we were the trouble makers. We would behave well in the classroom but when we were not in them we had a whole different personality. The worst of our pack was Clair. She has blonde hair that   has been dipped dyed purple. Her eyes are blueish green, and she always breaks the school rules.

Complication:

We imagined that our school holidays would be perfect, the best one ever. We would spend time with each other before we have to go back to our lame school. When I finished saying good bye to my friends I started to walk home. When I finally got home Mum, Dad, And my sisters were there sitting on the sofa I found it very unusual because they are normally home 2 hours after me! They said they needed to talk to me about something. I sat down on the couch and Mum and Dad said" we are you and your little sister away to live with your aunty Scarlett and uncle Alfie. You will be staying there for about 7 years or more she carried on. The first question I asked was wheres Skye (my older sister) going.They replied " she is living with Aunty Monique.

In between the Complication and the Climax
Why do I have to have Dizzy ( my little sister). Aunty Monique is the best Aunty ever, she will give you any thing you want but as for Aunty Scarlett she is the opposite. Aunty Scarlett has 2 kids and they are spoiled little brats and are VERY VERY mean! I stormed off to my room as soon as I heard that when I found out I was that I was leaving on Wednesday on the first week of the holidays. I had no time to spend time with my friends or go shopping I could do nothing that I had planned to do to have the best holiday ever. I was so angry and sad at the same time. When I was laying on my bed looking up at the roof i can up with an AWESOME idea. We could squeeze everything into one day the only day we could do it is tomorrow because I am leaving on Wednesday.
I jump up and call Clair, April, Jansje and Ginger to tell them that I was moving away and tell them my awesome idea.

I got up straight away and got dressed and headed out the door for a day of shopping and hanging with my friends. We went to the mall. Half an hour later I got a phone call from my mum telling me that I had to come home and finish packing my bags because they have decided to send be away early. I told the girls and we hugged goodbye, I cried as I turned around to walk away I still could not believe that my mum and dad have decided to send me away!!

Climax
I went home and packed my bags then I decided to have a nana nap so I could get some rest. I slept in till 10am and my plane leaves at 12am.  I got up and grabbed my bag and went outside to the car where mum and dad where waiting.

The whole way to the airport I said nothing. We were pulling into the drop off zone, mum got out and gave me a hugged here goodbye. But when my step dad got out I walked away from him and said nothing (I only did that because he was the one who decided to send me away.As soon as I walked into the doors  was missing mum already but i went to the cafe and got myself a got chocolate and a brownie and it made me fell better for a little while.

Finally it was time to bored the plane. I had enough of people snoring next me, people leaning on my shoulder and babies crying so I put on my ear phones and and listened to some songs turned up to full volume.

Resolution
I finally got to Los Angles where my Aunty and cousins where waiting for me. On the way to my Uncle Alfies place and my cousins were already calling me names! The house was a mess they lived in the middle of town with all the racket. I rang mum and convinced her why I should move back  home I said i would pay for my own ticket and mum said YES!!! The three of us lived with Aunty Monique.
I brought my ticket straight away. I moved away from that horrible place within 2 days.Now i am happy and shopping with my best friends!! Turns out to be one of the best holidays ever!!!!!

            

Uninvited Visitors

One night on top of an ancient graveyard lived 2 people named Drake and Kendrik. Kendrik is a peaceful young man and has good manners unlike Drake. He is really fast and can run a really long distance. Kendrik is known for digging underground because it's his specialty. They both live on a farm on a really ancient piece of land.

Kendrik and Drake were bored and decided to throw a big party. 39 people attended the party at their house. All of a sudden the lights go out, 12 people go missing. The rest decide to go looking for them including Drake and Kendrik. Drake didn't like what he saw, not a bit because 5 bodies were found with blood pouring out of them also flesh and guts are all over the place, luckily 7 others manage to survive.

Drake turns around and sees a really unusual creature until he realizes its a zombie. Drake sees a knife on the ground but doesn't pick it up because he knows the zombie looks really familiar. Drakes grandfather passed away 33 years ago on the same ancient piece of land. Drake then realizes its his grandfather and asks for peace.

They are now really close and decide to have a tea party. They talked about how their family's in real life and in the graveyard are. Drakes grandfather started to feel a little bit tired so Drake decided to drive him back to the graveyard. Finally Drake drops his grandfather into his grave and decide to head back home.

Now Drake shares his amazing but also scary experience with everyone. They all forgot about the zombie crisis and Drake and Kendrik finish off the night by playing Black ops 2 on Ps3 but all of a sudden he hears a knock on the door but he didn't invite anyone and heard a mysterious and gross voice that said "Guess Who?!" they opened up the door but didn't know that it was the zombies !

It's just an obstacle

The waters rough, splashing into the blow up raft and onto the Jones' Family faces. "Ewww!"Joshy says n disgust. "Only a bit of water son," Dave replies back to Joshy. " Just get over it, plus it looks carmer further up." Dave is an adventurous, outgoing, 28 year old man who lets nothing get in his way. He stands proud on his short, muscular legs, guiding his family of five through the waters of New Zealand.

The Jones Family is on an outing which none of the have experienced before. White water rafting. They are so excited for the trip. The have nothing to fear only the fact that Dave has never done this before and only has a map of the waters to guide them back to Waikato. Birds are singing but thier songs fade so quickly because of how fast the raft is going. "I'm hungry.", "I'm cold, "Are we there yet?!", "I need to go toilet!" The family are arguing and grumbling at eachother.

"CARM DONE!" Dave shouts. "We have nothing to worry, only that the map is gone. No fear, your Dad is here. You know my motto." He stands up straighter, head high and says"Nothing is a challenge for me, only a small obstacle that I can easily jump over." "Yeah, yeah Dad." Georgia grumbles. Once again they are arguing as they cometa a fork in the river. Dave takes a sharp left turn into a skinny water way and they continue on.

Dave is hearing loud, splashing noises further down from where they are, he gets worried but doesn't show it with facial expresions. Suddenly the raft tips forward and the family are rapidly falling down a waterfall. "Ooahhh!!" The family scream 'SPLASH!' They hit thee water with full force. Up comes Daves head, then Jackies, next Georgias, now Joshys. "Wheres Lucy?!?!" Jackie says. Bubbles form from the water.

They all swim faster than Micheal Phelps to where the bubbles are. Dave dives under the water, reappearing with Lucy in his arms. The 5 year old didn't make it. "Shes dead." Dave says with tears in his eyes. "This is a challenge that I am facing but an obstacle I will never get over."

Where's Jerry?

It was a day that I couldn't forget and I still have nightmares about it. It was a sunny day at camp. The sun was too hot that it made us sweat and the smell of sand is making us sneeze. The sun reflected off the clear water while we were putting on our life jackets, getting ready to do our last activity at the last camp day.

Jerry's parents invited me to join their family vacation. We were waiting for Jerry to put on his life jacket while we were in the raft boat. Jerry is a quiet boy and has been my best friend ever since we were little. Mr McDonald is standing up and is looking at the map we were supposed to follow, then he sat down and we started paddling. Paddling in the raft boat was kind of hard at first but then I was  getting the hang of it. Jerry was used to doing these kind of things because of how his family does camping every school holidays. He is a tall, quiet boy who's been my friend ever since we were little, we did everything together.

Everyone was having fun splashing each other with water until there were two streams to cross. Mr McDonald was looking for the  map which he lost, but by the time the streams came closer we were all looking for the map. We didn't know which way to go so we paddled left. "Whew" we sighed in relief.
After a while we all got bored so no one was paddling the raft until we heard splashing water and looked forward to see a huge 100 meter waterfall ahead. We were so shocked that we all started paddling and trying to get back but the water pressure pushed us forward.

''Hold on, screamed Mr McDonald'' and we all held on to each other. Before we knew it we all felt ourselves falling down. "Matt wake up, rough hands shook me hard". We survived I thought but when I looked up Jerry wasn't on the boat. ''Wheres Jerry, I asked'' and in a minute we were all screaming out Jerry's name. We paddled everywhere but we couldn't find him.

Mr and Mrs McDonald started to cry and I also felt tears prickling down my eyes so I turned away and stared down into the clear water, I was speechless at what I saw, there sinking down into the deep, dark waters was Jerry.

Narrative writing- We fight the crime

In the year of 2013, There were two mall cops. There names were Kyle and Rhys. They loved there jobs because  they are aloud to use there firearms at any time of the day. Both of them had a good childhood. They both were smart-ish but they loved to learn without been told to. They stayed out of trouble and it payed off. They got into a good high school and passed there. Last year, they both applied for a mall cop job and they were chosen and started 10 mouths ago.

It was a normal day, 5 people arrested, 2 people tazer to the bone and Sam, yes Sam. Sam is one of those people were he would do EVERYTHING to get money. "HEY" shouts Rhys. "PUT YO' HANDS ON DA' GROUND" shouts Kyle. "Nah BRO" shouts Sam. KA BOOM!, Sam shoots Rhys in the eye. "OMG" shouts and random guy. "Oh" says Kyle. "ITS TIME FOR TAZER POWER!" shouts Kyle. Kyle try's to call to S.W.A.T team to come to the seen. He calls them and within 5 mins, they are their, at the mall. Sam try's to book it out of the mall. Somehow, he brakes into a car with his bear hands. A ton of police are racing down the freeway. A cop lays spicks to sam's tires to make them flat and it works! Sam has no way to get out of this but get out of his car and run into the bush. For a little while, he got away but help is here! The cop dogs can get him!, I think? Sam is not a fast runner. Within 5mins, The cop dogs get him. Sam is at a dead end. He does not give up yet.

Sam jumps into a river knowing that he can not swim. Trying his hardest, he floats down stream. He is coming down to the beach, were it meets up. The cops are waiting for him. Sniper ready! "Yes Sir!"

Locked: Part 1

It's the last day of school at Reremoana Primary. The students are excited, noisy and rushing to get out of the rainy weather. The sky is black with clouds but every so often it lights up with sight of lightning, followed by loud, rumbling noises. Jacob, a short, smart, sporty, blonde year 8 is spending his last few moments with the school kicking his ball on the rugby field. Everyone has left school except for the cleaners.

The rain is flattening Jacob's gel styled hair and the sound of the dripping makes him need to empty out his bladder, so he sneaks into the toilets while the cleaner isn't looking. He finishes up then heads tot eh mirror to style his hair again. Walking back to go outside Jacob hears the 'click' of someone locking the door. Confused, he rushes to the door and tries to open it. Unfortunately the door was locked. He was right. The cleaners are gone and he is left alone, locked like he's in jail. Petrified, he lets out a blood screeching scream.

'Zap!' A strike of lightning hits the roof of the toilets scaring Jacob so much thats he jumps and runs franticly around the anti-bacterial smelling toilets. He hears another zap of lightning then a crackling noise. Debris falls from the roof smashing to pieces on the floor. "Ohhhhhh, what am I going to do." He panics to himself.

Jacob looks around. "Aha." He bends down and picks up a bobby-pin, walks to the toilet door and starts to twist and turn the hair accessory. 'Click'. The door opens. "Genius!" Jacob congratulates himself."Now...?" He looks up at the sky, the lightning, grey clouds and the rain. He needs to get undercover. Finally he runs to the cloak bay of Room 11. 'Zap!'. Lightning strikes the roof. Jacob runs to Room 12's cloak bay. 'Zap!' Once again the cloak bay  gets demolished by the lightning. It's like the three little pigs with one pig, cloak bays and the lightning, very dangerously, playing the wolf. Jacob takes the courage and sprints, his little legs going faster than cheetah, running towards the gate of the school. With all his power he jumps up and over the gate. Not believing himself, he looks back at the damaged school but pushes himself to run home, faster than the wind.

Suddenly a person dressed in all black steps out in front of Jacob, making him freeze completely in shock. "Hello," Jacob looks up. It's the cleaner, he must of known Jacob went into the toilets! "I am surprised how clever you can be." The cleaner, who's name's also Jacob, grabs Jacob and drags him to a van a couple of meters down the road. He chucks him in the back, locks the backdoors and takes his own seat in the front and drives away.

Narrative Writing- The Best Day Ever?

School, school and more school. Seven days a week and a lot in a year. School is of those things that kids HATE!, but if your Blake, Liam or Mattew it the best thing that ever happen to you!

Reremoana School, very old school and looks VERY old to. Cobwebs, moldy walls and cracked roofs makes the school a pigs house. The school does not have the money to make this problems fly away thanks to the kids that make it a pigs house. The school has some smart kids but there not learning new things because 95% of the kid don't know what 2+6 is. The one thing that the is REALLY god at is minecraft! Almost every kid is a boss at it, even the smart kids!

Its a normal day at school, kids are still dumb and the smart kids are not learning new things. Its was 11.35 and 15 seconds on the clock when we are all called the hall (or what I like to call it, the Junk Yard). We where all told that the school was closing down because of who knows what. Almost every kid in the hall (or what I like to call it, the Junk Yard) was the happiest they could be! I took a glance at the smart kids and I think they where not happy about about it, I think they where about to rage! There was no hope for them, or was there?

Its the day after the head of the school told us that the school was closing down. The next thing I know is all the smart kids (or what I like to call, the "Geeks") walking into the school like a boss. They had toy guns and camo gear ready for war. Me, Sam, Rhys and Daivd thought "well, we will give you a war all right!" The goal is to that we have to go to the principle and tell her that the school has to be closed because its unsafe to work in. Its a race to her to get the final say on the school. My team gets there first........ but then I realize something?

School is one of those things where we kind of have to do. If we don't go to school, where kind of done. "Ok, have the school, keep it open" I say.

Finding our way

On Friday 10th May selected students of the Kereru team travelled by bus to get to the Totara Park to participate in the Counties Orienteering day. It was cold with alot of rain. Everybody was nervous and excited.

First up was the year 8 boys, last was the Year 5/6 girls. There was 6 different courses for each member in the team. The year 7 and 8 courses had 17 controls they had to come to, to find the way to go they used a map. The Year 5/6 teams had 15 controls.

The course was hard and the maps where tough. The weather would not make up its mind. Kids would  

By the time all the teams had finished it was pouring wet and cold. The day was hard but an awesome experience especially for the year 5's. Congratulations to the Year 7 girls team and the Year 8 Boys team who qualified for the Auckland Champs and to Liam Haddock who qualified individually. Thank you to the parents who helped on the day also a huge thanks to Mr Fourie, Mr Munro and Mrs Notley for making this day happen!

A Nightmare

It was a cold, dark night and the street lights turned on and off flickering in the dark.The streets were wet and alone as I walked on puddles. I squeezed my inhaler as I feel my asma congestion coming up.I get them when Im scared. My black, short hair is wet from that heavy rain and my brown eyes are red from being tired.

I turned around as I see a car coming towards me so I ran into a building. The building was dusty and stuffy with broken glass on the floor everywhere, The curtains were old and ripped and I gasped as I  stepped on broken glass. I knewI should have ran towards the car and called for help but something told me not to and the car has already pasted by. Now I was in the building not knowing where I am and how I got here, I pulled down a ripped curtain and placed in on a bench close by and laid down for the nights sleep.

I woke up to hear chain-saws and screaming that didnt sound too far away. I was dizzy and my eyes took time to adjust the light. Then everything was clear and now I could see that I was in a room that had no windows or anything else except a door. The room had scratches on the wall and blood was everywhere that it stank. I saw that I had chains on my foot with big round cement balls on the end. I was so shocked that I had to spray 5 times of my inhaler in my mouth. I heard screaming again that didn't sound to far away.

Then the door creaked open revealing a girl that stood beside it, She giggled and started to laugh. She had black hair that came to her waist and wore a black dress that had blood stained on them. She was walking on bare feet and had white eyes. She was holding a chain-saw with blood on it and was slowly walking forward sniffing at directions. I figured that she couldn't see because of her white eyes so just to make sure I took the glass that was stuck on my feet and threw it to a corner. It made such a loud noise that she walked forward towards the noise.

I pulled the chain saw and they weren't as heavy as I thought they were so I ran out the door. The outside was a inside dusty parking building. I kept on running but to my surprise the same girl was there in front of me with her bloodstained chain saw, I waited for death to come to me and I closed my eyes.

To my surprise I woke up to see my dog licking my face and my other dog looking out the window barking loudly. I yarned and stood up to look out the window and there standing in the fog was the same girl, she was looking up straight at me and smiling.

Goodbye School!

It was a sunny day. Jeremy felt happy that school almost began in 2 days, he missed the playing basketball at the school court. He was going to head to the park to meet up with his friends. He felt the hotness of the sun on his forehead. Jeremy is just a normal kid who does normal stuff. Hs is not good at things and also not bad at them.He is a big dreamer with brown eyes and short black hair. He is the shortest person from his friends but is the most skilled person at skating. Jeremy finally met up with his friends and the three of them started to skate around the park. 

Jeremy felt tired after dinner so he went to bed after helping his mom with the dishes. Something bothered him the night but then he remembered, sometimes in the afternoon at school when he is at class he sees a person from behind the hall and then the same day the hall somehow gets vandalized so now its been fixed 3 times and the lazy school principle doesn't do anything about it. He knew what to do even before a wink of an eye that he was going to find out who has been doing this to the school hall and why. He  knew that he was going to regret this because every time he does something smart it turns out wrong. Jeremy made a plan that night, he was going to take a video camera and his best friend for evidence. Maybe his going to be famous and would be put into the famous book by the famous people that he's been dreaming of since year 6.

The last day of the school holiday and Jeremy thought it was the end of his life, he didn't know if it was the right night for a person to be vandalizing a school hall or not. He talked to Ian his best friend into this and he agreed only because he liked the plan of being famous. Midnight finally came and the two boys were already climbing the school fence, Ian was  shaking that the fence made a big noise. They started running to the school hall when they heard a huge noise like an explosion. Ian almost peed his pants when they heard another sound. They tiptoed to the back hall where there was a door .It was dark so the boys couldn't see but there was a torch light moving around inside the cement building so the boys knew where the person was. Jeremy started videoing until his camera fell and made a huge noise, they saw the light moving towards them and they both ran outside and to the fence.

The moon shone outside so the boys could see the person, he was wearing a mask that covered his whole face except his eyes and mouth. Ian wasn't always the best person to bring when you're being chased by a dog. He was crying out loud while the persons just behind his back ready to tackle him. Jeremy looked behind and was just in time to see his friend been tackled and dragged by the person so without thinking he threw the video camera to the person who was dragging Ian and the person winced at the pain as the camera hit his face. Ian had time to run up the fence and they both ran.

Sunshine was streaming in from Jeremy's window, he didn't know how Ian was feeling but he woke up with a back ache. Then he just remembered that today was school day and even though he didn't have the camera he knew that he had Ian. When the 2 boys arrived at school they were both silent  and did not talk to each other since the morning. Strangely the school bully  came and sat at Jeremy's table and was staring at him half of the time. Time went by quick and Ian and Jeremy went to see the principle and her office. They than explained about what happened and Ian turned red with embarrassment when as they talked about him being dragged. Jeremy knew that it was too much for the principle so he tried to talk silently and he calmed down. They waited for a while so their principle could take it in slowly.''Ok, she said slowly. "Karl can you please ring the school nurse, the principle yelled" . The boys were told to see the nurse and as they walked out Jeremy thought he saw the school bully watching them from the side. Jeremy and Ian was suspended and they were send home. "Goodbye school, Jeremy said". 

Last minute of school

It was the last minute of school.Everyone at James Cook high school was so excited that it was the holidays, but there was just this one girl called Sam.She really like school. The reason she doesn't like the holidays is that her parents don't like her doing anything.

On Friday afternoon sam was walking home from school with her BFF Josh.Sam and Josh were walking a cross the field and saw someone following them so they ran as fast as they could but the person kept on following them home.

Later Sam walked down to the dairy.She was really scared that she was going to get kidnaped.She made it to the dairy without getting kidnaped.But as soon as sam walked out of the dairy someone kidnaped her. She new this was going to happen.

As soon as she arrived at the gangsters home the gangsters locked her up in a cage.Sam looked around it was dirty, scary, wet and cold.Sam parents were getting worried it has been 30 mins since sam had gone ,maybe she was killed or kidnaped? So Sam's parents hopped in the car and went looking for her. Sam's parents were asking people have they seen sam the people said "no". They rang the police so the cops when looking .Sam's parents went looking as well, they went down an old road and saw an old home they heard Sam's voice so they ran inside and grabbed Sam and ran to the car.Sam's parents rang the cops and the cops raced here.The gangster got put in jail for 96 years and fined 1000,000,000 dollars.
